Dr Tom Pickerell
Before becoming the Director Tom managed the SIDS project. Before joining the SAGB he was the Fisheries Policy Officer at WWF UK and also worked in a variety of roles in Defra. He spent nearly 9 years in academia completing a degree in Marine Biology at Swansea University, a master’s degree in Analytical Biology at Warwick University and a PhD in scallop genetics and aquaculture at Swansea University and in Chile.
