Mr Maldwin Drummond
Maldwin Drummond was a Director of the Newtown Oyster Fishery and later Rothesay Seafoods on the Isle of Bute, Scotland. In the late 1970’s Maldwin became a member of the SAGB Council and in 1987 was made President, a position he held until his retirement in the autumn of 2008. In 1978, Maldwin was elected a member of the Fishmongers’ Company and in 1985 a Member of the Court. He served as Prime Warden of the Company in 1996/97. In 1990, Maldwin was made a member of the Order of the British Empire for conservation and public service.
