Lord Kindersley
Hugo Kindersley went straight to Harvard Business School from Oxford and joined Lazards on his return to England in 1954, becoming a director in 1960 and vice-chairman in 1981. In the interim, he held a number of outside directorships, including the Sun Alliance Insurance Group, the Steel Company of Wales, English Electric, GEC, British Match, Swedish Match and the Maersk Company. In 1980 he was appointed chairman of the Commonwealth Development Corporation (CDC). He joined the Court of the Worshipful Company of Fishmongers in 1973 and was Prime Warden in 1989/90. He became Vice President of the SAGB in 2009.
